Protecting Families Homes operates structured Independent Living Homes (ILH) designed for adults who can live independently and benefit from a stable, rule-based shared living environment.

We do not operate as:

A medical facility

A treatment center

A rehabilitation program

An emergency shelter

We do not provide medical care, mental health services, or substance abuse treatment.

Licensing Status

Independent Living Homes are not classified as medical or assisted living facilities and, in many jurisdictions, do not require state licensing when no medical or clinical services are provided.
